I have had numerous MRIs. The images are incredible, beautiful and scary. A tiny ‘blip’ could be unrecoverable damage or cause any number of symptoms. This series uses real MRIs of my brain, overlaid with text and spectrographs (sound waves).

From Australia to Turkey, this series explores landscapes and urban streetscapes through the integration of photography and spectrographs (soundwaves). I have always been fascinated with the unique sound identity that every place possesses, visualised in these works.

Exploring portraiture through photography and spectrography (soundwaves). The sound in these images is taken from the portrait subject’s environment and often casual conversation.
